Double Exposure

Double Exposure

the image above is the best one out of all my double exposure experiments. The ghostly nature to the image add a sense of foreboding to the image. By using and image of my friend and a derelict building to create this new image, I have created a sense of pain and attachment to the place. The direction and position of her face and eyes gives the impression of a person choosing to not look back, even if it causes them pain. Maybe the building is a refection of a dream or a promise that has been long forgotten and falling away. The cold washed out colour of the image adds to the lifeless nature of a derelict building and how overtime the memorise there will be forgotten. Is she bocken like this building?
